The Bloom Collective is proud to present its next chapter of artist collaboration - "Cycle" by Dexamoland and Hannes Hummel.

The release is a collaborative NFT project between two Bloom co-founders, consisting of four digital artworks and one special edition piece, accompanied by a physical 3D-holographic screen. For the Cycle project, both artists took their inspiration from "Cassette Futurism"-a visual aesthetic reminiscent of the mid-1970s to late 1990s tech. Apollo-era computer electronics and proto-cellphone color schemes meet off-the-wall experiments with strange creatures. Each of the five artworks embodies a variation on the theme while also being simultaneously connected to every other piece in the series.

The centerpiece of the drop, a 3D-holographic screen (in addition to the digital artwork), underlines this concept, as well as the aesthetic vision of both artists. In essence, the artwork pushes the digital realm into the physical, as a further exploration of both artists' phygital work.

We held a HPPRS RSVP IRL event during NFT NYC 2022. One room had (4) 70” monitors showcasing various HPPR-related art as well as drinks and music.

It was a good experience for us to see how important real-life relationships between collectors, friends, artists, and families are.

Laurence Fuller is an Actor and Award~Winning writer Best known for his lead roles in feature films “Road To The Well”, “Apostle Peter & The Last Supper”, “Paint It Red” and HBO’s “Minx” ~ Laurence actually got his start in British theatre, training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and taking the lead role in the West End theatre production of “Madness In Valencia” at Trafalgar Studios. Writing credits include “Modern Painters” and the Award~Winning Screenplay “Modern Art” about his late father, the art critic Peter Fuller. He brings Spoken Word Poetry & Art Collaborations to the NFT art world.

“Sand” was Val Kilmer’s audition piece for Juilliard, which resulted in him gaining acceptance as the youngest student ever admitted to their drama department. Halfway through the line “I’m sorry can I start over”, when his auditioners responded he knew he had done a convincing job of delivering a believable performance. Val then went on to become one of the most prolific actors of his generation. This piece is an expression of the beginning of Val’s journey as both an actor and poet, really the only choice for Val’s SuperRare Genesis.

Bird Poetry

The follies of youth reflected in memories as man faces the eternal, what will he say? This piece is an iconic collaboration between Val Kilmer @valkilmer, Tomer Peretz @TomerPeretzart, and award-winning actor poet Laurence Fuller @LaurenceFuller. A true collaboration, the conception of this brilliant piece was started at Peretz’s studio where he meticulously oil painted Kilmer on canvas as “incomplete”. The piece was then delivered to Kilmer who wrote an original poem inspired by the piece, and painted and signed by hand onto the canvas. 

Once complete, the spoken word, performed by Fuller, was incorporated, and the mixed media cinematic elements were constructed to bring the essence of the masterpiece to life. In “Shamrock Clock” the ruminations of a rebel torn between art and commerce as he deliberates the commodity he has become, living through the follies of notoriety. I’ve admired Goldcat’s  @OriginalGoldCat  work since early last year, but this is my first time having the privilege to work with her.

False Prophets is an exploration of influence in the art world, what is the difference between what is genuinely said to be valuable or “great” art and what is the truth? Working with thee GAN artists and one painter to create the visuals. There’s a lot of discussion this past year as to wether AI art should be considered art at all, so I enjoyed playing with the topic without judgment ~ though I do think the work speaks for itself in that AI can be useful elements to contribute to a piece, though not necessarily a finished work by itself.
